I just wanted to say a quick thanks to you all who have been faithful in donations and those who have just recently committed to giving towards this donation.

I also wanted to remind you guys that it is nearing time for payment on our lovely server so send those donations in if you can.

I will be ordering a private/match server very soon, when I think we have enough to cover the cost of both the public and private servers. The monthly total cost for these will be; PUBLIC: 17 Player = $68/mo & PRIVATE: 12 Player = $24/mo = $92/monthly.

i like the idea fo the serious and fun maps on different servers but i think we would soon find out what people like and do not like in which is the more populated server.

I like the idea DH. I think the custom map server would be the most popular especially if it contained the ever popular awp_map, iceworld, rats1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8..etc, Speedball...you get the point.

But, for those serious players, the other server would be the option!

elite posted the total cost somewhere so you can have a think about it. If we go over budget then we will start considering buying a second toj server.

At risk of putting a figure in your head i would say around $10-20/mo is a respectable ammount.

Sadly very few people donate. We have been trying to drum up funds for servers for a while but there are lots of areas of ToJ that require financing.

With the added publicity and members though i think elite should be looking at a healthier balance and might be looking into a second server soon. I think the scrim server is very close to being sorted aswell..

Chik - I wish everyone was able to donate but unfortunately they can't. I know everyone *wishes* they could, but actually there is only 1 person who has faithfully donated $30/mo since last year when we got our server. There are just a handful of members who donate different dollar amounts at different times, which is helpful but doesn't cut the cost of having two servers.

I think the biggest thing is, is that most of our members are young and still in school meaning they don't work.

Again, anything will help guys! Don't feel like you have too, though.

The server costs $70 per month (actually $68) for a 17 player server. The 17th spot is supposed to be the HLTV spot but I think it will become the admin spot to lay down the law.
