As long as everyone realizes where the money is going...from what I read its to a Counterstrike server...not entirely useful for WOW.

That is a valid point. It is going for a dedicated server which does not necessarily directly effect the WoW members. I advertise this as a way of supporting ToJ. In my opinion anything that help the ToJ, helps us all.

As long as everyone realizes where the money is going...from what I read its to a Counterstrike server...not entirely useful for WOW.Actually, the money will go toward the purchase of a rackmount server that will be capable of running several game servers simultaneously. CS 1.6 and CS:S will be two games for which we will run servers, but we will run other game servers (such as UT2004, Battlefield 2142, and TeamFortress 2 after its release) as well.

While some WoW players play other games as well, it's true that many would not make use of game servers for first-person shooter games. But funds donated by members also cover monthly expenses.

Many WoW players make use of features on Tribe of Judah's World of Warcraft chapter site (http://www.toj.cc/wow/). For example, the WoW chapter site includes the scripts and databases used to manage raid signup (http://www.toj.cc/wow/information/instances/) and MC DKP (http://www.toj.cc/wow/information/dkp/listmembers.php). Web hosting costs $10 a month and our domain name costs approximately $35 a year.

I understand that WoW players already pay $15 a month for each account and are not as interested in Tribe of Judah purchasing a rackmount server as our first-person shooter players. Still, all funds are very much appreciated and every donation brings us closer to providing us with new ministry opportunities.
