I understand exactly what you mean about BM making me giggle.
At your level, we can knock out RFC in about 10 minutes, but I recommend Wailing Caverns for you. Good hunter gear, and lot's of learning opportunities. It's also, in my opinion, one of the best looking instances you'll see...
I'm usually on the same times as she is, we'll be happy to run you through some instances.
I also recommend drilling to learn your class abilities (trapping, pulling, etc) and even practicing advanced methods (chaing trapping, pet pulling, LOS pulling, etc). I'd be happy to help with that as...
Well, it seems that I can no longer edit my original post, so I'll update the first link here, but the second is nowhere to befound.
The Zone of Ultimate Safety
To make up for the lost link, I give you two more: Big Red Kitty and The Hunter's Mark.
Both of these are great blogs, with tips...
Be Imba is a very helpful tool to "tweaking" your gear. Plug your character name and server in, and the site will pull your data from Blizzard's Armory. The tool then evaluates your gear, spec, enchants and gems.
Cut and Pasted from their FAQ:
Q: What is this site about?
A: Our goal is...
As far as potions go, my alchemists can make all potions, elixirs, and even some flasks. Just let me know what you would like, and I'll get you a materials list.
BGs are a good way to practice, and I'd love to participate.
I'd really prefer to keep any discussion of the merits of these ideas out of this thread, and keep it to a "brainstorming" type of thread. All ideas are welcome! :D
As Madiera pointed out, we use WowAceUpdater, after switching from MacAceUpdater. I switched to WowMatrix (I refuse to link to them, but they are easily googled) for a bit (saw it on BRK's blog) but switched back when I saw a lot of the Ace Addon community were upset.
Seems the writers of...
I use Big Wigs with it's BC modules: it includes timers for all the new raids, plus a module (Little Wigs) that has timers / warnings for BC 5-man content.
I prefer Ace addons, and it seems to have a smaller memory footprint.
TNP is a great guild, and a great bunch of people. But I've been here too long to just leave, unless I get asked to. In that case, I'd just log out and not come back. ( my level 70 dorf is still sitting in Shat, doing nothing)
I will admit, I have am irrational hatred (and I do mean that...
Guild Identity
At this time, I believe we a a social guild more than anything. I think many members would like to progress to higher instances, and even raid eventually, but I do believe that it will take a coordinated effort to get us to that point. I also think that the bulk of the work at...
I've noticed, both on these forums, and in Guild chat, some confusion / frustration with people's perception as to what is going on with our guild.
I've been thinking about this myself, and I'd like to share these thoughts with you all. I'm not speaking as Lechuza, the guild member or Guild...
Starting sometime this weekend, I will be grinding Bloodsail rep to get the Admiral's Hat, and get the rarest (without a collector's edition or visiting a Blizzard special event) non-combat pet in the game. The Blood Parrot
This page is a write up about what I am planning. As you can see...
Well, considering that I'm the only co-leader who rolled a toon on Thunderhorn, let me answer this response that is CLEARLY directed at me.
I log onto Blade's Edge every day. I do all my dailies, plus farm at least 5 primals a day, and transmute a diamond or Primal Might. If you do the math...
KLH Threatmeter (see, you were very close) and Omen are the two that are most popular. The main advantage that Omen has is that it will track everyone's threat from ALL mobs in the vicinity, while KLH only tracks threat on one mob at a time. Omen will also "read" data from both.
To use them...
This is actually a GREAT idea.
Practice runs help a lot. Too often we look at instances and runs as a chance to get exp, gold and gear, but if we can get a good core group who has experience together, it will make a HUGE difference when we start to look at end-game content.
This may sounds...
