Could it be possible? A cure to end this ailment?

Unfortunately, even if Microsoft were to completely resolve the hardware failure rate issue tomorrow and a retailer could promise me a shiny, new, RROD-proof 360, it wouldn't matter. I can't afford a 360 any more. 
Of course, I still have to finish Okami, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia before I pick up any new games, so I'm okay with not buying a 360 right now. I'm content with my Wii, DS, Playstation 2, Gameboy Advance, Dreamcast, and Playstation 1.

Of course, that may all change if a certain JRPG developer announces a new game in a certain JRPG series will be a Playstation 3 exclusive. (No, not Final Fantasy. FF is dead to me.)

Still, it's good to know there may be light at the end of the tunnel for 360 owners. (I haven't looked at the video Elihu referenced, only because the desktop machine I'm using while I wait for Dell to send me a replacement is an antique and it lags like mad when I try to load online videos.)
