Hey guys,
I just experienced this over the weekend and wanted to bounce it around to see if others have had a similar experience or if it's just me.
Things have been crazy lately with work, social life, side projects, getting ready for Christmas, etc. and I haven't had much free time. (any free time I do have is spent on side projects) Anyways, I would still try and fit in an hour or two of Guild Wars in there every once in awhile, but much to my detriment of my sleep schedule.
I went back home for the weekend to visit parents 'n my bro who was visiting from out west and I brought my gamecube back with me. For some reason, I found sitting on a couch, trading superstrikes on a TV with my bro, using a controller, to be somehow more relaxing than sitting at a computer playing a MMORPG or even an FPS for that matter.
Keep in mind that my day job involves sitting in front of a computer, clicking and typing, building websites, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Being away from a computer to do anything is relaxing. But I'm just curious if anybody else has had a similar experience.
Cheers!
