Matthew 10

As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' 8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[2] drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; 10take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.
11"Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. 12As you enter the home, give it your greeting. 13If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.

The above passage is one of my favorites. How many truly believe Lord Jesus Christ expects his people to do these things, or do you think it was just for the 12 at the time. No right or wrong. Just what you think. And again it’s a Bible discussion. That’s our truth.

We are all meant to do it. But we have different gifts to do it with. The 12 that were sent out had very specific gifts, such as healing. There are many gifts listed in the bible and we all have differing quantities in those gifts, which is why each of us are unique.

This community is out there doing this now. We all go out and spread the gospel by how we act, react, interact.

This part of the verse is one I have not notice before, although I am sure I have read it a gazillion times (yes gazillion is a word

) Would this apply to any home we enter? Why would we let our peace return to us?

I take that as welcoming to the spirit. Meaning if they welcome the Holy Spirit if not then take the Spirit with you when you leave because they are denying God.

I believe as christains we have the POWER thru Christ to enable many "spirits" wonders. I believe Lord Jesus Christ meant what he said,""""If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.""

Jesus' instructed us to live as he did. And what was it that Jesus did? He did, as he put it, only what he saw his Father in heavan do. So, he went out and lived and interacted with the sinners of the world, healed them and preached of the kingdom of God to them. And where ever he was rejected, he let his peace come back to him and he left.

We are not to do any different. We proclaim his name above all right here on the internet. As gamers, we do so when we are engaged in a game. To me, it matters not where I am, where ever I am, I use tact to spread the word.

Sure, but how many times do you hear about people being healed?
Or what about moutains being moved? The Bible also says that.
