So I started up Etrian Odyssey 4 a week or so ago. Anyways, I decided today to re-roll my team and start over after learning the basics. My guild/explorers comprise of a Landsknecht (normal melee shield/sword member), nightseeker ( new to 4, a deadly dual wielding thief of sorts), dancer (yes a dancer, with excellent offense and defense buffs along with strong attacks), Sniper (bow specialist), and runemaster (ultimate caster at this point anyway)...
Day 1 log:
So we have begun our journey into the depths of the lush woods, though looks quickly fade, as we have found ourselves running from FOEs (extremely powerful monsters), while trying to map our way through. At this point we are heading to the Orchard for some training before we embark on the next big quest, the killing of a fierce bloody beast that has been ravaging the villages soldiers. We are learning are link attacks and burst effects so that we can become more effective in our journey. Each class is learning how to effectively play off of the other for support and multiple attacks.
Our only fear now, is the rumors of the red dragon that soars the skies from time to time. At this point our airship is safe,but the further we explore I am sure it will take notice of us...time will tell.
