Ezekiel 48:10-11

"And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in lenght: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst thereof.

It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray."

It is a difficult thing to stand alone, and not something most Christians aspire to since ideally we're supposed to be one unified body in accord under God. But even though we may not choose such a situation, it can still happen sometimes by virtue of staying faithful to our Heavenly Father while others around us choose to move away from Him.

It can cause one a lot of worldly distress for a time as it surely must have for the sons of Zadok who stayed faithful even as the rest of their countrymen and the Levites themselves did not. But God still sees all, and He recognized the sons of Zadok's faithfulness and blessed them because of it, and we can take comfort in knowing that no matter what is going on in the world around us, as long as we are with God, we are exactly where He wants us to be.
