Guild Wars 2?

I've heard but haven't yet looked up for myself that Guild Wars 2 is now available for preorder so I was wondering if anyone here had any opinions yet about if they're going to stay with the original or move over to the new one. I had been considering getting the expansions to GW1 after getting my new computer, but if others think they might move over then I'll save my money for that instead.

Some info about GW2 can be found here:

Well, It looks like it is going to be a lot of fun to play Guild Wars 2. :D I'm waiting for it. Not going to preorder it until a collectors version is released I don't think... However I do plan on playing it. I have played all the campaigns thus far (Apparently, things you do in Eye of the North carry over into Guild Wars 2. Names, ranks and such. :D )

I think that it will be fun to play and hopefully save the game for a lot of people. Higher level caps and the like sound fun!

If you get the chance to buy Eye of the North I would suggest it, its designed for level 20s and up, however with your gaming schedule and home life, may hap it would behoove you to wait, get a new machine and get Guild Wars 2 when it comes out. I think we plan on following it. :)

It certainly looks exciting, but given that I've had to suffer argument over it already here just from looking at web sites about it, it's not likely I'll be able to make the move anytime soon. I was able to negotiate an alternative instead to be able to host a persistent world server using another game to share Bible study resources and allow others to host events there so hopefully I can manage more accessibility via that route whether I can ever get into GW or not.

you know there is the cga teamspeak server asl wlel. you can announce your Bible studies here on the forums and host them on the teamspeak server. We ahve plenty of room..:)

What game are you thinking of trying to use River?

Neverwinter Nights 2. I don't know how many here happen to have it already, but I would be willing to help buy it for people since it would be basically to accomodate my own personal disabilities which others shouldn't have to pay for an additional game for.

Thanks for the suggestion. :) Unfortunately one of the other annoying things about me is that my disability causes me hearing problems so I can't use any of the voicecom programs effectively, which is a lot of the reason I've been trying to pursue the GW venue for fellowship activities.
