Natural Selection and Steam do not mix

DO NOT install Steam if Natural Selection is your mod of choice--especially if you use All-Seeing Eye or another server browser to search for servers.

I've just spent the last hour and a half installing, configuring, testing, and uninstalling Steam, and re-installing Half-Life with CS, DoD, Sven Co-op, and NS.

It's just not worth the hassle for NS players until Valve gets their act together for any mods besides "The Big Three."

Well, yes, that's the general concensus.

Of course, I have to re-install it just to get my blasted SteamID so I can send it in to Sven Co-op to get my shiny electric crowbar and golden uzis back when the mod is patched to work with Steam.

Can we all just ask that everyone in their QA department be fired immediately? A beta is supposed to have a few hundred or, at most, a few thousand people. Not millions of paying customers.

EDIT: I re-installed Steam just get my SteamID...and the authentication server is down. -_- Which means I can't log in. Which means I can't get my SteamID.
