However look at the reason we are being ordered to do it... So when the day of evil comes, we can, and this is important, Stand our ground.
This is important. We are not to fight, we are to stand. Our Commander in Chief calls out to us "Hold the line! Stand together!" So what do we do? We form up ranks, helping our fallen brethren up and we stand. Shoulder to shoulder, shield to shield.
Why must we only stand? it seems like such an easy thing to do right? Wrong.
Think of this, you are wearing an extra 150 pounds of armor say (Including your sword and shield anyway) and you are not used to wearing it, how hard is it going to be for you to stand up? Even some of the strongest men in the world would have a hard time. Its a lot of weight to hold. However as you learn to stand in your armor, you will also grow stronger. While you simply stand, it is also a lot easier to hear the voice of our Lord and Savior, our Commander in Chief, call out orders.
So stand strong with each other! If no one will stand with you. Stand strong anyway. Its hard, it takes a lot of effort, but the pay off is huge!
