2 Chronicles 7:13-14 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
13 If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people,14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

We need to daily pray for our country, no matter if it is the U.S. or another, but especially the U.S.. Over the years we have been blessed beyond measure, yet we as a country are turning further and further from God. I don't intend this to be a political rant, just to point out our responsibility to pray for our country daily. I have a small flag pin which I occasionally wear, and when I do wear it I wear it upside down to indicate our desperation here and to remind me to pray for our country. Pray with me today, not just on special occasions.
