Officer SOE/LoE/Where's "here"?
Matthew 26:14-15 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
14 Then one of the Twelve—the man called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15 and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” So they weighed out 30 pieces of silver for him.
The deal has been made, the Lamb is ready for sacrifice. How cheap do we sell the Lamb for? Speaking for myself I fear there are times I have sold Him too cheap also. What are the baubles and shinies that tempt us away from our faith? Or are we like Peter and value our safety more than our Savior? Time for prayer I think to evaluate our lives, time to ask forgiveness and accept His grace once again in order to be ready for the joyous Easter day.
