Show Your Faith by What You Do
14 Suppose a person claims to have faith but doesn’t act on their faith. My brothers and sisters, can this kind of faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister has no clothes or food. 16 Suppose one of you says to them, “Go. I hope everything turns out fine for you. Keep warm. Eat well.” And suppose you do nothing about what they really need. Then what good have you done? 17 It is the same with faith. If it doesn’t cause us to do something, it’s dead.

What is your faith acting on? Maybe it isn't money, maybe it is action. Got a neighbor in need of lawn mowing they can't do? Does that single parent with two jobs you know have a long list of jobs they can't seem to get to? What does God tell you about that hungry pan handler you just ignored? Do you carry a supply of fast food gift cards to pass out to the hungry you pass every day?

Dear God give us your heart for those in need. Show us what we can do. Better yet tell us what you want us to do daily. In Jesus name Amen.
