Sneaking this one in under the wire....

Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Some of the enemy's most powerful tools aren't outright deception or trickery, but the seeds of doubt. How many times have you read a passage from the Bible and wondered:
  • Is that really true?
  • Could it have really happened like that?
  • When the author says the sun stopped for a day, was it really like that?
  • Did Creation happen in 6-24 hour periods?
  • Was the veil really torn from the top down when Jesus died?
  • Did Mesach, Shadrach, and Abendego really walk in the fire?
  • Did Daniel really face a lion?
  • Did the fat guy really get stabbed on the toilet?

See, the problem is, Eve was tricked by the serpent, and we've been falling for the same lie ever since. We never learned that the answer was supposed to be, "yes He did say that, that's how it happened."
