MAGES AND BWL

We needed them mages though.... :( Sheeps and frost nova. Coulda used two more warriors :( Probably would've gotten to stage two...down to 11 eggs.

Ok. I am a severe disappointment! I apologize for not being there. I collapsed in my chair and did not rouse until 4:30am with just enough energy to make it to my bed and sleep the rest of the night.

I promise that I will be in MC tonight (God willing) and Beriale will be melting face again!

Please forgive that I have been burning the candle from every end possible and it is starting to catch up to me.
 
It's all good. Once it really sunk in (with me) that we had no mages and few tanks, I just stopped using mana oil and intel pots. I actually used more health pots than mana pots and never got low on mana since Sazul kept my corner pretty clear until I pulled aggro by healing Mirakle...

That doesn't sound very safe Dukatt. Someone needs to take away your candles until you catch up on sleep.
 
Aww...now I feel even worse about not being able to make it either. T_T

see what women do to you Beriale:P mine keeps me up until at least 1am everynight playing wow, sheesh.
 
I know man what's the deal with that? It is just that we are just so loveable they want to spend as much time with us as possible, even to the point of sleep deprevation! Imagine if we played WoW together!! I would never sleep again. LOL

I will be there tonight, the Arcanist Bracers will drop tonight, we will pwn tonight! Nuff said.

I guess you never saw the 300+ page thread on the WoW priest forum called "Shadow Priest = PvP server?" Where almost every post is some configuration of "You will be melting faces as a shadow priest." :D
 
Face meltings may occur if you're a shadow priest however...

Come the expansion...excessive face mendage will be inevitable...
 
I'll be joining raids on a regular basis once I upgrade my last two tier 0 pieces (head/chest) to tier .5. Just need magister's robe but after 35 Drakk kills, still haven't seen it drop. Hoping 36th time's the charm.
 
Even with the mage count at ZERO and the warriors at THREE, we still did very very good.

1. I had fun doing something new
2. Sounded like others had fun doing something new
3. Everybody who was there saw how the encounter looks
4. We can start refining strats to find one that will work for the group

It was overall a good experience. Well worth the 9 gold repair. Once we have this on farm status, it will all be good.

Now as to why we didn't just bring "green" mages in.

We tried that with Domo and learned it doesn't work. Having bodies for the sake of having bodies is not a good strategy. People who don't meet the gear requirement leech alot of mana from healers to keep alive, so much so, that one may as well let them die. In one hit, the could loose >90% of their life and to heal that back over and over and over again will take 90% of a priests mana. It is better that they not come to cause additional strain on very limited resources. Yes it would have been nice to get the Intel buff from them but if all the benefit from that intel buff is lost trying to keep them alive? The benefit at this level we get from bringing in bodies just to have bodies is so neglible that it is inmeasurable.
