I wouldn't take it personally, I think you just happend to hit on some topics recently that put you against the flow. (i.e. group calendar has a long history in the guild, the guild has many hardcore addon freaks, most who love wowace mods, etc)

I hope I don't seem too harsh in responses to you, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and I am glad to see you active in the forums here.

P.S. Goblit is right, need more cammoption cowbell

Nah...no one really hurts my feelings...I actually like just about everyone...but I feel like many people hate me...and I do not feel important to this guild...yet I try so hard...

Unlike most people, playing with this guild is part of my life...it means much to me, not something I could ever ignore or leave...this guild is very important to me, but I do not feel very important no matter what I do...

Hmm...maybe I should be made an officer, that would help...lol... :)

Being an ocifer won't help your feeling of self worth....too easy to feel like you failed at it when something goes wrong....been there...done that.

Now if we all ignored you and your ideas then I wouldn't blame you for being upset....but I think you got lots of responses from people who didn't!

Anyways...glad you are here :-)

There are three things that people try to fill with things/people:

1) Significance
2) Acceptance
3) Security

The only thing that can fill these is God. If you try any other path, you are doomed from the start. You are a child of God, you can't be any more significant than that. You are accepted into the Kingdom of God. No better acceptance. Even if you walk through the Valley of the shadow of death, you don't have to fear evil, for God is with you all the way. How can there be any better security than that? :)

I think the idea with some of your ideas is to keep on, guild chat and on the forums, to try and get people to follow you.

Let me give you a little life lesson of mine: I wanted to do ZG back when it came out. Very few others wanted to. After about 8 weeks, I finally got a group to go, of 7 people. All we did was trash to get coins and rep. And it was that way for another month before we got enough people out to even attempt a boss. I think it was 6 to 8 month after it was released before we had a constant group in ZG, and it coincided with Molton Core. The more successful we were in MC, more people would want to go to ZG or AQ20.

We've all gone through the storms of just not getting the support one needs to get ones idea's of the ground. For the Group Calender idea, now you know the history of its use in the guild, shouldn't stop you from trying to get others from using it. Maybe it starts with 5 people, then another, and another. You aren't going to get everybody on your band wagon, you just need the people who are going to use it, to use it. Maybe in a month you'll start running into problems like we did, maybe they fixed them.

Retribution... even after the changes Blizz has made, it is still very hard to pull off (by pull off I mean the ability to be comparable to other DPS classes). And, if you want to raid, I wish you the best of luck, because you'll most likely end up healing, and not DPSing. Redeemed has always had insufficient healing. People such as Tree, Julienne, Wheretoo, me on Oddbob and poor Sandric (who ends up healing more times than he tanks on raids) have all spent time healing and not DPSing or tanking, which is our main job.

My bottom line is if you want to DPS, make a class that specializes in it.

Edit!: Oh, and about your ideas concern, you may just be picking some subjects for the wrong time. It would be magnificent if Redeemed was smaller.

Once Alhana was the guild leader. I can't remember if he was before or after Fj... Anyway, I talked to Icthus about having multiple guild leaders, a sort of triumvirate system. It did'nt happen, Icthus took over, and I believe he was a great GM who did a lot of good things for the guild. But look, we have 3 guild leaders now. My idea was simply thrown out at the wrong time.
