It turns out that many old school sailors wore eye patches. Not because they were missing an eye mind you, but so they would have one eye adjusted to the dark at all times. There were no lights below decks back then.
I thank you all for the support, it means a lot to us because of the "stigma" surrounding what we do. Sometimes it's hard not to get lost spiritually along a path of what some deem as "required evil deeds to keep the peace." But alas we are pretty good at what we do and I'm not overly concerned...
