tomfoolery -- you have some small chance to get a new schematic with every reverse engineering. However, note that REing the green items can only bump it to blue, and you have to then RE the blue item a few times to bump it to purple. If you keep REing the same green item (i.e. while leveling)...

Sorry, I had two totally different points that got mashed together in a couple edits (as you noted). Yes, people will "value" good gear with good stats, but if everybody can get it cheaply (or just by hitting a button) people won't feel that rush of endorphins when they finally beat the hard...

One reason to "arbitrarily" tie character levels to crafting ability is balance. People instinctively appreciate balance -- they want the units of time and effort they put into the game to be worth about the same amount as the units of time and effort someone else put into the game. However...

So... now you can put some effort into building a cohesive Christian community instead of powerleveling? :-P Alternately, you could start crafting me some 1337 gear...

Really, I figured they'd require a comparable level to run higher-level slicing missions (so credits gained stays nearer to a toon's level) but it sounds like they want lower level toons to be good crafters.

Yeah, the worst part was that you could level to 400 and get ridiculous yields while under level 20. Many of us got 100k credits before we got anywhere close to buying a speeder -- kinda defeating the "save for the speeder" goal and pretty clearly driving up prices for all lower-level goods.

I guess I was hoping it'd last a bit longer, but I'm glad the massive inflation has been curbed. Now I can pivot to a more useful crew skill and develop my biochem and cybernetics without feeling guilty!

I've loved playing with all of you, and I enjoy the basic game, but I just don't enjoy this game enough to keep spending my time or money. I've got a new house with lots of projects in mind, hobbies that have been languishing, and a lot of stuff to get done before we become foster parents in...

But... you have to be 40 and have lesser wards... I guess I'll stick to PUGs for now and we can run Crypts in a few weeks when we have a full compliment of guildies.

*sigh* Well you see, Exchange Traded Funds (or ETFs) are a lot like mutual funds but they're traded actively on stock exchanges like stocks. Because they're traded like stocks, they have to open their books and let investors know what they're holding not just once a quarter like mutual funds...

After running through the easy bit of Bastion Stair last night, I got to thinking how those lesser wards aren't worth a lot since most people should be able to get 3+ lesser wards just through regular keep taking. That's not to say that they're worthless, just pretty simple to grind in PuGs...

Yeah, yeah, I buckled down and got my AM to 40. I've done BS a few times and it's interesting enough (never beat the middle wing boss though) so I guess I'll come and join the party.
