Apparently the crafting packs you buy in the Zen Shop are superior than gathering the mats for free. And then there's this: I fully admit that the game is fun. The combat is refreshing and very, very satisfying. But I take issue with letting people buy their way into 1337-ness.

I think there is a painfully obvious solution to this. :) Why not buy it from Toys-R-Us? I don't suffer from Tek's law - I just don't buy a lot of games! Guild Wars 2 was the last game I bought.
