for both of your #4 issues, i wouldn't have been hosting the server myself, but rather renting the server from another company (there's many out there). and i agree with you on linux. i've tried a lot of them out a while back and they were very cool. it's a little difficult to get around...

if i rented a server, it wouldn't be through ToJ, thus rendering it useless. i'll have to retract my offer based on ToJ's preference.
