Yeah, I started playing WoW a week or two ago to see what it would be like pre- and post-Cataclysm and so far my largest complaint is the combat; it's kind of slow.

I say start in Nightfall or Prophecies if you are new to the game, while Factions is quicker it also doesn't have you learn near as much as Nightfall and you don't get as much free stuff as Prophecies.

The game looks amazing, this is something I will be pre-ordering the collector's edition of. Edit: Also, it was so exciting to make me use improper grammar.

Actually I believe it's that if you weren't born in Nightfall you can't ascend there, I think Prophecies characters can change professions even if they're only Weh No Su.

Well, that would be due to Diablo being an entirely different type of game. Unless they surprise me and Diablo 3 is an RTS.... Also, I find SC2 to be a more entertaining RTS than Warcraft 3 was, although we don't have all the custom maps that there will be...yet....

AFAIK you can play the campaign w/o achievements even if you can't connect to battle.net, so long as you've connected in the past month.

160 GB :eek: I'm currently using 371GB of hard drive space though, so I may just have too many games, if that's possible.
