Can you live with an old PC/Mac?

Don't trust the finnish. I would trust a frenchman before a finnish... not really. I'm just trying to make a point.

Can you live with an old PC/Mac?

Could I go back to my old PC? Sure, but I'd be very reluctant. After switching from a PC to a Mac, I couldn't be happier. To be honest, I'd prefer an older Mac over a newer PC just because Apple takes pride in their work and it shows. Note: I no longer computer game, so that's not a criteria...

    "Comfort" games?

It depends on what comfort I need... If I'm frustrated/angry: Ninja Gaiden 2. If I'm lonely: Halo 3. I guess those are the only emotions I feel that push me into gaming!

A new story for me, chapter enclosed.

Very interesting read there, Neirai. I think I like it. It's dark yes, but it's a sort of faded story of good verses evil. I have no idea what that evil is (or if I'm supposed to know), nor what the good is, but I'm definitely interested in reading more! You've hooked me. As for constructive...

Asking for advice on cell phones

www.cnet.com is the best place for reviews. I've had very good luck with LG, so that's what I would tend to lean toward. But everyone has different success with each company...

Mega Man 9 release today (Sept. 22, 2008)

I remember the good old days of playing Mega Man. I remember playing it with my old friend on the computer against these INSANE bosses. Oh man, what a cheap game.

    Disbarred

There's a difference between human wisdom and divine/Biblical wisdom. With Thompson's tirade, there's only one type of wisdom to be had. When the world looks at Christians as fools, we know they CAN'T understand--we can only pray for them to receive the new wisdom that only Jesus offers. Note...

    Disbarred

Like I said, Jack Thompson pursued his obsession by being foolish, ignorant, arrogant, and idiotic. He wasn't after the truth. We, as Christians, are after truth. We see that the historical, Biblical, contemporary, and scientific evidence leads right to Jesus Christ. We've studied it carefully...

EA hit with class action suit over 'Spore'

No one here is promoting stealing the game, but rather promoting fair use of the game. You also call into question the legality of cracking the game to get rid of DRM, but the legality of this sort of DRM is being taken to the courts as well--hence the reason for this thread!

    Disbarred

There's a difference between passion and an obsession. Jack Thompson took any violence he could find and blamed them on GTA and other violent games (no matter how appropriate or inappropriate). He didn't look at the evidence to see where it would lead, rather he bended and shaped the evidence to...

I never said it wouldn't. I'll just have twice as much lack of pity for the next guy. On a related note, what's half of zero?

EA hit with class action suit over 'Spore'

If DRM is a tried and proven failure, then why do companies still use it in their products?

    Matthew 10:9-10

You need to read the verse in context with the whole passage. In Matthew 10:5-15, Jesus sends out the twelve apostles. He says in verse 8, "... You received without paying; give without pay." Then verse 9, "Acquire no gold nor silver nor copper for your belts..." What does this say to us...
