Alternate Patch site

Everybody should have 126MBs downloaded. The updater should whizz through those 126MB. Its the next 25MB that can take awhile.
 
that's a relief to hear that others are stuck at 126 too. Riddle me this redeemed...It keeps saying i'm stuck behind a firewall even though i turned it off...what gives?
 
You have to open and forward certain ports on your firewall and\or router. You probably disabled your software firewall, but your router is still up and running.
 
well, at my current setup i've never had any problems. sure its been slow but usually it takes after awhile. I just read some of the blizzard forums and i guess a lot of people are having the same problems that i am. :confused:
 
Clearly the "Stuck behind a firewell, thats why you are stuck at 126 MB" isnt your router or firewalls problem. I got to 126mb within if not faster than 2 seconds. I left the updater running at home, as i had to return to work :(
 
I guess this means I'll be doing homework tonight...or perhaps I'll keep posting and reach that all important milestone: 100 POSTS!!!!!
