Andy Hunter

For those into electronic dance music, I would like to suggest checking out a christian artist/dj by the name of Andy Hunter. I just discovered his stuff recently and I'm quite impressed by the production values and his vision. You may have already heard his work in the Matrix trailer and in the movies Eck vs. Sever (ugh! that was terrible) and recently in the Italian Job (renter). He's also done remixes for some other christian artists (although I don't know any specific examples).

Anyways, if you're at all into breakbeats and progressive house/trance, I'd recommend giving him a listen. (Also, Andy once did work with Hydro, a seminal christian trance/electronic artist from a few years back, and was half of Trip, a drum and bass project. If you liked either of those, you'll probably dig this.)

Andy Hunter's Exodus is available on Netwerk Records in record stores, Sparrow records in christian book stores. Hydro's and Trip's albums are available on N*Soul I think.

Just checking out his site, I like that he's put all his music in the online player, that's a good move there . It's a low quality file, but I can tell the music is awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
