Bioshock won't Stop Loading...

I start it from steam, watch the intro and fly through the water in the bathysphere... Welcome to the greatest city on earth yadda yadda yadda wont stop loading.

Any suggestions?

I have degragmented my steam files through steam and I am about to defragment them with Defraggler... I don't want to have to redownload the game.
 
They patched steam today to address issues like this.

Steam has been bad for me for about a month now.

Not sure what valve is loose, but something just ain't right.
