Today, I spent some time figuring out how to link my EA Online account and my Bioware Community/Forums account into the new Bioware Social Network site, which Dragon Age: Origins utilizes for your online profile to receive DLC, redeem codes, post in-game achievements, upload screenshots, etc.
Since the directions were not exactly clear, I decided to post what I found to be the least troublesome way to link all these accounts together as a reference for others who may want to do the same.
Step 1: Get your account EA Online login information
If you already have played an EA game that ties to EA Online, such as Burnout Paradise, then use that account's username (e-mail address) and password.
If you have not ever registered for an EA Online account, you make one at http://profile.ea.com/
Step 2: Link your Bioware Community/Forums account to your EA Online account
The Bioware Community was setup years before EA acquired Bioware, and it was used to sell Bioware's online content (e.g. Neverwinter Nights modules) and host their community forums.
The new Bioware Social Network reserves the usernames and account information of Bioware Community accounts. So, if you want to take advantage of that, you will need to link this old account to the EA Online account.
Go to http://forums.bioware.com/, and login with your Bioware Community account username and password. Once logged in, go to My Account, then Edit My Account, then under Preferences click on the EA Master Account link. Enter your EA Online account information and authenticate to link it.
Step 3: Log into the Bioware Social Network with your EA Online username and password
Now when you log into the Bioware Social Network, http://social.bioware.com/, with your EA Online account e-mail address and password, it should automatically detect your Bioware Forums username.
From here, you can register your copy of Dragon Age, and redeem any DLC codes. Use the same account to login while playing Dragon Age so that you can download the DLC, upload your achievements, screenshots, etc.
Hope this helps someone.
