So I decided to cancel WoW

Not the reason
1) Awesome people whom I love playing with
2) Guild drama
3) Samboe's mom

Reason
1) Healing changes - just can't get into it - and that's what I did in LK so I just don't like it
2) Feels too much like a job right now to get rep and new profession is just boring (I hate the grindy feel)
3) Honestly I just don't have fun - I like the people just not Cataclysm

God bless and I will not say I won't be back (those words come back to haunt you) but for now Goodbye.
 
You'll be missed friend. Maybe we can convince you to come back soon.

Also... glad to know it's not my mom's fault.

I can understand the way it feels like a job though - it seems like because it's the start of an expansion, everyone feels like they must NOT MISS THEIR JC DAILY (or similar situation). I know I always make it a point to find at least 5 minutes a day to get on and do that particular daily - even though there's nothing I need from it right now! Some days (remember yesterday, Icthus?), I find myself getting stressed over trying to get a heroic daily done - or I am rushing around trying to do everything at once, getting all tensed up, and I need to just take a step back and re-evaluate why I'm even playing the game. I'm hoping things will loosen up as the expansion goes on, and all the 'newness' kind of wears off. I want everything so quickly, sometimes I forget to slow down and have some fun.

I'm hoping we'll see you back - until then I'll keep you in my prayers.

For many of you who are like me: you just aren't having much fun with endgame as an 85 because its so much of a grind and heroics are old because pick up members are well...I wont say it..., try making a new character. When I hit 85 it was fun at first, but then got old quickly, and I'm not a much of a raider (I'd like to, just too much work, not enough time etc. etc.) so I just made a new character. Going through the new world is honestly pretty enjoyable. All the recreated zones I've visited so far have been great. Darkshore isn't that boring gray strand on the coast anymore. Ashenvale is like a big fun battleground with a story and bunches of quests, but without all the jerk players. In my opinion, leveling new characters and going through the new zones is more fun than "the big time" at 85. So if any of you are just getting flat out bored with your 85, try a new class, a new role, and go out and experience the new zones.

Anyways, goodbye Pneuma, we'll all miss you, and Flame's macro every time you come on :)
