The CoDBO Mp trailers have been revealed, and I say it looks amazing. I have been researching it more, and thought I'd share what I have found about the PC version of the game :)

Here is what is confirmed (stuff that PC users care about):
It's going to use steam again
Will have mod tools at some point
Will have more features than the Xbox/ps3 versions
Dedicated servers will only be available from Gameservers.com
Dedicated servers from gameservers will come as ranked or unranked
Max amount of players for a ranked server is 18; Unranked is 24
Ranked 18 man server from Gameservers costs $14.95 a month. Not bad.
Game seems good :) lol
VAC will probably work better because of dedicated servers.
All admin abilities of normal games will be in there.
More admin abilities than BFBC2 most likely :)
Shouldn't be any F-Bombs in MP.

And that's all for now folks... I personally can't wait for it...

So who's gonna get it?

Meh...the multiplayer will not be anymore innovative than MW2...if you are going to buy this for the multiplayer you will be wasting your money...the CoD series for the last few years have just been changing the single player story...nothing really all that new in multiplayer gameplay...and Black Ops is the same... I WILL NOT pay $60 for a 4-6 hour story, and the same gameplay as MW2 with a slightly different skin...and the fact they are trying to con us by releasing a new game each year...that's crap...

/mytwocents :p

I'm not sure how you can say that. It is a completely different team of developers on Black Ops then MW2. Many of the issues that plague IWs game look to be addressed in Treyarchs game. Saying this is a waste of money is a pretty bold statement. MW2 was the best selling game ever and millions of people loved every $ they spent on it, making it a huge entertainment success. (even with its bugs, glitches and giving the finger to PC users) With Treyarch behind the wheel, I am sure this will be similar in popularity and give millions of people their money worth.

The new wager game with 4 modes to it, looks pretty innovative in my opinion.

also on a non realated but cool note
Gary Oldman and Ed Harris will be lending their voices to Call of Duty: Black-ops as Treyarch and Activision confirm a host of Hollywood talent that's helping out with this year's blockbuster shooter.

Ya Xion.... I don't see how this will be the same.... Maybe if your an Xbox player... But PC players can do leagues, custom mods, maps, and modes again. You'll be able to keep a server clean... You'll be able to mute, kick, and ban players again. It is going to be different in so many ways. New weapons, game modes, and maps.... dude $60 is worth gungame alone (lol). The community returns! No more getting stuck in games with complete idiots! You won't have to play with hackers... So much better.. in so many ways..

FPS's haven't changed in decades. It is all about who can aim the cross-hairs in the center of your screen on the target and pull the trigger first. Every one adds a little salt and pepper but essentially the basics haven't changed. I feel the same way with sports releases. Yeah, the new EA Sports NHL11 is better then NHL10. $60 better? Probably not. I don't by every years worth of sports releases, I wait 2 or 3 years until the features are worth $60. NHL09 works just fine for me if I want to play hockey on the big screen and before that, the previous version I had purchased was 2002 and 97 before that.

I will likely buy Black Ops simply because IW's Multi player was a step backwards and most people will move on from MW2. I will likely buy NHL11 because I've been told the tech changes in NHL11 create a new experience over 09. I won't be buying NHL12 because again, NHL11 will probably suffice for me for years and I don't play NHL online. Whereas, I will probably buy MW3 after black ops simply because I do play that online and people will likely move on from black ops.
