What I saw of it looked very pretty, and seemed to run surprisingly well, but unfortunately it seems that it overheats my GPU even with the fans maxed out. For this reason I have been unable to judge the actual gameplay, and even considering a purchase is out of the question until I have a new PC.

I still theorize that Crysis is not so much a game as it is a carefully designed marketing ploy to motivate PC gamers to upgrade or build new gaming rigs. Maybe nVIDIA, AMD, and Intel fund the game's development?
