Death?

Anyone ever cried about, 'what would happen if I died'?

I did, ha.

I thought when I'd die, I would be in a dark void than Heaven or Hell, like if some turn off a light switch, went all dark, no one but complete darkness, no sight, no thought, no movement, nothingness...

That was before I ever knew Heaven and Hell was an actual rule of death, shesh...

meaning if i died, well seeing I'm not a christian, I would go straight to hell, no middle part, not even a chance to heaven, 1% chance to go to heaven, lol. Oh well.

Sometimes I wonder if you are actually, 'good' christians. Had some bad advice from a few christians, and look where its turn me up to, lol.

Suicides here, trying to kill myself there...pathetic indeed.

Honesty, I hope I die in hell very....soon, so that I dont have to see ANY OF YOU!

And of course making a good deed wont get u to heaven thats for SURE!

Say, I wonder, if I actually died, would I really see hell? or is that part of an illusion or fear...?

Nah, I dont blame christians for what ive become, more ive blame myself for what ive become, as my InfestedCorpfox profile:

I am InfestedCorpfox, infested by no other, the Zerg. I am part human, part zerg, I am no longer what I am before, and will no longer be......FOREVER! :-(

PS: You actually thought I would open my heart to Jesus, just remember, I Know the facts! I Am going to Hell but I wont dis any of you, that would be like dising a christian gang, which i would get hurt very badly.

Also, do not feel sorry for me, its made it extremely worse the last time someone felt sorry for me.

Good People go to heaven, and Bad people go to hell.......

That is your first mistake. basicly you are compairing yourself to the wrong person. You are a horrible sinner and you definantly deserve HELL, I listen to you write and I can see very plainly that you are on your way to hell, but not darkness and nobody and nothingness, a hell of Fire that will burn you forever and ever for all eternaty. And even if you would change your entire life around right now, and would NEVER sin again a single day in your life, if you would STOP sinning, and live a perfectly Sinless, blameless life, you would STILL go to hell. Because your previous sins are still unpaid for, how is that for a grim outlook on the situation?

When you realize that you are not compairing yourself to how good I am, or how good the person down the street is, or even compairing yourself to how good Ted Bundy is, if you use those standards you may be able to justify that you are not SUCH a bad person, and you MAY see that you have a 1% chance of heaven. But you have a ZERO % chance using those standards.

Compaire yourself to God, because he is the person who will be judging you. Flawless and perfect, God will compair YOU to HIM when you stand before him after you die. If you do not measure up, you go to HELL.

Let me tell you some good news now, Christ(God in the flesh) came so that he could take that payment for you. SIN has to be paid. And when you stand before God on the final judgement day, Christ puts himself in your place for the judgement. And being how Christ is sinless, and flawless. ANd is GOd in the flesh, HE does measure up to the JUDGE. And YOU can enter into heaven because of him.

YOU must accept him and accept that YOU cannot measure up, (which you already have) and accept that CHRIST did die for you and that you cannot repay that penalty. It is somewhat funny, but the ONLY people that will ever make it into heaven are those who realize they do not deserve it.

Hey man. You have a few mistakes you haven't quite ironed out yet, some major ones. ANd it's understandable: most of the world has no clue what they're talking about when they reject Jesus Christ and all Christians as "mindless zealots" or "traitorous hypocrties" and that "no thinking person would be taken in by THAT."

I've often thought about what'd happen when I died...I believe, know, that when I die I will be with God forever and that will be all that matters any longer. I've also thought about the contrary: what if I didn't believe in God (or, worse yet, if He doesn't exist) and I die. Will I end up in a flaming pit for all eternity? Or will I just blackout (like you think)?
There are some thoughts about hell and the truth of hell: is hell really a big barbecue for all eternity or is it a spiritual, figurative pain that lasts for eternity because you're left with the thought that you had the chance to know God, to be with God and LIVE for eternity rather than sit in a dark atmosphere forever apart from the presence of God?

To me it is the presence of God that keeps me alive. If God did not exist I would have zero problems with taking my life. None at all. Because if there is no standard for life, nothing to achieve to, nothing to look forward to, then all of what man has done thus far has been meaningless and fruitless and the end of it is just what you believe it is: death and eternal sleep with nothing after that.
What manner of end is that? I would welcome it all the faster to exit this stage of pains and wickedness with a few sparse acts of "goodness" here and there.

I'll tell you someting: there is no good person. You're not good. I'm not good. Definitely not good. I'm worthless. A pathetic excuse for humanity. Oh whine, whine, whine, right? But it's true. Truer than you'd like to think: you, my friend, deserve any manner of death the Powers That Be can think of for you. So do I. So does the world's populace.
But my God, Jesus Christ, died for me that I wouldn't have to die for my wickedness (and truthfully, there is no goodness in my life apart from Christ) and I could live after death, rather than die after death, as those on the proverbial highway to hell do. And believe me, we are all on that highway to hell until we turn to Jesus Christ.
I am NOT a good person, even as a Christian. I try my best to honor God, but many times I slip up and fail and pray to God that he spares my life just a bit longer and let me live to honor HIM. But still I fail again and again. It's saddening to me, but it's the trap of the flesh: I am a wicked person, even covered by the blood of Jesus Christ to the eyes of God...I can live righteously, honorably, RIGHTly...but I still am man and I still live wickedly, how I want to live and I abhor that.

You're very right! A good deed won't get you to heaven...the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. He "[is] the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes unto the Father (Who, by the way, resides in heaven) execpt by [Him]."

That's a very poor reason to go to hell and spend an eternity in darkness churning inside for the stupid reason you chose hell over heaven...it's absurd, but hey. In heaven, we won't remember your sinfulness, and you won't remember ours. That's an awesome thing of God: he is going to take away our pain and our tears of sadness and anger.
Also I'm going to tell you this: not everyone who says they're Christian are. You should know that now. Many lie. Many believe they are. Many talk, but they don't walk. Many have deceived themselves, to their own detriment.
I am a Christian. I will be in heaven with God at the end of it all. But my witness of my Christianity can be hurt by my sinfulness and when people are ogling my every action to see me trip up and then leap on it like so many hyenas on a carcass...well that can be very bad. In fact, it may drive people away from the faith. That's why I try to act as Christ wants me to act, that people won't mock me and my faith and others in the faith and leave it for the "stupid hypocrites" but rather see me and see that I am actually living for what I say I believe in.

Let me tell you this: if you could get into heaven based on good acts, then who would judge you? Would it be your neighbor? What if he wasn't going to get into heaven and didn't want you to so he said your good deeds weren't good enough, so off to hell with you? Or what if your good deeds fell 2% short of what God expected of you, so it's off to hell with you? Is that fair? No...man cannot save himself by "good" acts...and what is "good?" Being kind? Not cussing? Helping the neighbors with the lawn? Walking the dog? Loving the kids? Giving them whatever they want?
Goodness and badness come into relativity and if there are two things that are NOT relative, they are goodness and badness. Man cannot clearly define goodness and badness because his glasses are dirty when he looks at them...so they kinda blend into a grey colour.
You can't save yourself...Someone Else can. Do you even know what you reject on the basis of fellow, sinful, downfallen men? I don't think you quite do.

You don't have to restrict yourself to the flesh, dude. You can go so much further past that. If you got any questions you can PM me if you want. You probably won't, but hey...I'm not going to lie down without a fight.

From reading your post it is obvious that you are hurting, I can relate to what your saying. I've held a knife to my wrist before, wanting to cut what I thought was a worthless existance short. I dont know what advice you recieved but there are 3 definite truths in this world.
1) God loves you
2) Jesus died for your sins so that you could be with Him
3) If you truly accept Jesus into your heart you will be saved from whatever imaginable horrors there are in Hell.

I've been where you are right now and I thank God everyday that I am not there anymore. Give God your hand, put your trust in Him.
He will NEVER let you go if you only accept Him. What makes me more deserving of His grace then you? Absolutely nothing, I've not done ONE thing in my entire life to deserve salvation, yet it has been graciously given to me. Why then wont you accept the chance to die and be born again as a new creature? Are you afraid that God will fail you? You say that you know the facts, if you do then why do you choose damnation? Give God a chance.

Throughout the Bible God makes many promises and He has NEVER broken any of them.
Romans 10:9 says "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
God says it right here in plain english, if you accept Jesus you WILL be saved. Not maybe, not only if your good but WILL be saved. Another promise can be found in Romans 8:38-39 "38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[13] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." God here is basically saying that once you accept Him, NOTHING can seperate you from Him.

In the end, its not me that can change your mind. That is entirely between you and God. Please don't give up on God, because He has not given up on you. I wont give up on you either because I know where you are coming from and have no desire to see anyone be in the same state I was. You can email me at jwdavenport@liberty.edu or AIM me, my SN is Squee1245.

I as well as many others on these boards are here to serve you in whatever way we can. Please don't give up on the greatest treasure mankind has ever known.
