Ok so last night I got into an awesome group doing the new ICC 5man's. We're chugging along rolling over leagues of the undead that Arthas throws at us when my pc went poof. I have automatic updates set for 3am since I usually log off by then. So game goes off and then perfect time local Electric Utility the power shuts offs and restarts. Update Failed, Windows Can Not start properly.. etc. I said forget it and went to bed after a system restore failed. I woke up this morning and did a format and restored factory settings off my HD's partition. Anyways Im still getting everything updated, windows is working right, all I have to do is instal wow +2 expansions and unknown amount of updates and addon's and I'll be back. When I log in someome please remind me to make a back up disk. After all this I figured it would be safe to change my Update timer to 5am :-).
 
er, you don't need to install wow + 2 expansions...you just need to install WotLK and you're fine.

you can usually recover just fine if you boot into recovery mode and restore to a day or so back...you don't need a mac for this.
 
Kewl, Thanx for the tip Natty. I didn't know that. I just reinstalled WoTLK after reading that and I might be back in a week or 2. :D

heh already installed. Actually I had the computer download everythig while I was at work so not long after I got home I was able to play again.
