Legacy of Elijah [LoE] - Proud Grandfather
Fig trees may no longer bloom, or vineyards produce grapes; olive trees may be fruitless, and harvest time a failure; sheep pens may be empty, and cattle stalls vacant— but I will still celebrate because the LORD God saves me. Habakkuk 3:17-18 (CEV)

It's Thanksgiving Sunday this week. The next week begins Advent.

All over America there will be thanksgiving for the blessings we have - particularly those the Lord has provided. Habakkuk makes an excellent point. Even if nothing is turning out the way we thought it would - we still rejoice and praise God. If we have nothing else - we have a God who saves.

This passage has long been a favorite of mine. It never gets old for me. Thank you for a wise choice for the season.
