Games and minimization

My games (yes all of them

) keep minimizing. Does anyone have a idea as to what it could be? I have reinstalled direct X and updated my catalyst to 4.4 and that did not help. I do run power strip but I do not think that is the problem because 1. it dident start right after I installed it, 2. I disabled it and the problem still happens.
 
wow thats whacked, umm i think i had this proplem a while back with morrow wind but i cant remember what i did to fix it, it didt have any proplems after the laptop was reforrmated and watnot but i doubt u'll have to go through all that

Yes it does. By minimize I dont mean go to a smaller screen I mean it goes to windows and then I have to click on it to make the game come back. And it repeats itself constantly. I just recently formatted and I dont want to have to do that again.

Luckily the games do pause when they minimize.
 
soundslike somehting is interuppting the game, try stopping the unneeded services like messengers, firewalls etc
