Guild Wars 2 Video

I'm on a self-imposed GW2 media blackout until the game is at least in beta (provided I get into the beta).

But I take it from the building excitement among Tribe of Judah's Guild Wars chapter members that it's going to be awesome.

Good luck with that, pretty much everything ANet is saying is specifically geared to make everyone with even a passing interest in MMOs and gaming sit up and listen.

I might even be evil and sneak a link to something GW2 related, after which it's pretty much assured you'd be right there with us sitting on the edge of our seat breathlessly waiting for the next tidbits of information to drop... :D

I haven't watched every video released, and am of the same mindset of Tek, but not as strict, but from what I know Anet is capable of producing and what they've done with GW, GW2 is going to be *insert adjective that hasn't been made up yet*


Oh, before I forget, for more GW2 news, Prophet Elhanan is our official spymaster in charge of GW2 information and he constantly relays his findings here.

I'll reserve judgment until I see actual gameplay instead of clips of scenery and bosses, the combat in the first GW was incredibly boring. Looks like it could be interesting, but hype usually only serves to disappoint.

o.O ...I have played over 50 MMORPGs and it by far had the most fun combat...now...this is all matter of opinion...but if you think GWs combat is boring...don't even think about playing WoW or Lotro... LOL
 
I thought Guild War's combat was boring from the beginning, a long time before I had even heard of WoW. WoW on the other hand, I enjoyed from the first time I played it, to each his own I guess.
 
The video looks sweet... but some of the scenes make it appear as though you'll need a Cray to run it, though hehe.

Anet has said at the beginning that GW2 won't need to have the extreme NASA top of the line computer to play. But I don't know any future word on that, other than that's been their motto.

I found DDO's combat to be more entertaining than GW, but it was also a lot more difficult to get used to. After DDO and GW it would probably be Tabula Rasa, shame that game died it was actually pretty fun.
