k, so I dunno if this deserves a new thread, but I'm experiencing some major V-day drama right now. Basically, everything was fine until I was told I was working from 5-9 tonight (yes, shh, I'm at work now). All of the plans, reservations, etc were thrown completely out the window...

So now I'm lost as to what to do. I'm my gf's first Valentine, and I'm afraid it's all just going to be blown because of this last-minute change. The only idea I've had is dessert, but where? I'm in Waco which means options for fine dining are slim. We have from 9-11 when we go back and have a Lost-watching date party. :D Help?

Stop at the grocery store on your way home and get sushi or order take out before you leave that's on your way home (like Chinese or Indian...something nicer than McDs. Something like Chili's steaks would be good, too). If you can, get some dessert, too. Then set up some candles, light them, eat and watch Lost together. I'd go with the sushi option, so you can grab a dessert, V-Day card/sweets, and candles at the store, if you need to. Rotisserie chicken wouldn't be a bad option, either, with sides from the deli. Throwing in extras like a teddy bear wouldn't be a bad idea either.
