Hey!!

Hello..............................................

PLAY FFXIV!!!

How are you doing?

PLAY FFXIV!!!

I am good... :D

haha, i was thinking about you the other week, hope your doing well.

i graduated college, work alot, do alot of ministry, game less :( , but for some reason i feel like i should start playing FFXIV soon.

Wait a second, everyone thinks I was on a Missionary...I even read it in an old post! Idk where it came from, but I wasn't...lol.

What have I missed since CS?

And FFXIV????? haha I know nothing about the FF games!! What's it like?

Fixed it for you tek.
I had thought of the Left 4 Dead games, but only listed games that are on par with Counter-Strike's competitive multiplayer. L4D is a fantastic co-op game, but its Versus mode is the first-person equivalent of Mario Kart Wii. MKWii is fun, sure, but it's certainly not intended for competitive serious business. I don't think anyone's going to be silly enough to start L4D2 Versus ladders, leagues, or tournaments.

That being said, if you're looking for a co-op first-person shooter, L4D2 is where it's at.

The player community has posted some fantastic custom campaigns and ToJ members have had a lot of fun playing through some of them in recent weeks. Next week's (9/8) Left 4 Wednesday event features one of my favorite custom campaigns, Diescraper.

Do you guys ever play any console games? I did try Left for Dead on xbox a long time ago. For awhile my friend was completely in love with the game so she would always tell me to play it. It was ok...probably would have been better on PC, though.

It is.

I haven't played the 360 version, but...the PC version is still better. We get free updates, we get custom campaigns, and we get Steam. Tribe of Judah's Left 4 Dead Chapter has a weekly game night (Left 4 Wednesday) on our L4D2 server.

L4D2 PC sometimes goes on sale (and was recently on sale for $6.79), so watch Steam as Black Friday approaches.

EDIT: And yes, I also play console games. My wife and I recently received a Playstation 3 as a gift from Keero, Gator Missile, and Grey, so I've been spending more time in the living room. I also own a Wii, a PS2, a Dreamcast, a PS1, a DS Lite, and a GBA SP. So my gaming options are quite varied.
