A] Have you seen/met Jesus/God in person?
B] Have they talked back to you?
C] How does God look like? By imagination or belief?
D] Are you sure Christians' will go to heaven? By imagination, belief or fact?
E] Would the place, Heaven, be imagination, belief, fact or faction?

You've read bible's, relation to bible's, bible books. Gone to church, youth groups, other stuff...the real world, r..e..a..l..i..t..y.

When you die, how can you see? It's not like you become a Angel or Holy Ghost or something in thin air and fly/walk/drive/swim/run/crawl/jump to heaven.

And see the gates of Heaven, the people that are in Heaven or God himself!

A. I honestly hope you're joking. I have not seen Him, but I have seen His actions throughout my life.

B. Sometimes, but it's not a loud booming voice. Hard to explain.

C. God is a spirit, He has no phyiscal form.

D. Since you cannot prove anything we believe, it would be a belief.

E. See D.

We won't be the Holy Spirit, because He is a part of God. But, the Bible says we will be like angels. God is omnipotent, He can make us what He wants to.

I know you were just, exaggerating, but how will that letter be sent and whom, Dear John Doe letter?

That quote is confusing me, The Holy Spirit is a He? He is someone part of God? Who is He?

What is that suppose to mean, Jango?

There is a trinity. One God, but in three parts. The three parts of God are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Think of the three leaved clover. Three leaves, but one plant. God isn't really male or female, but He is still reffered to as "He".

You cannot prove religion, therefor everything we believe must be on faith.

I have never seen the wind either. But I've seen the effects of the wind. Its the same with God.

Good words-
Faith... yeah.
Faith is much more than something we guess might be right.  "Faith is substance... Faith is evidence" right?
Imagine you were born into a world where there was no such thing as eyeballs.  So you somehow have these eyeballs.  Imagine being the only one around knowing what a tree looked like ... or what anything "looked" like for that matter!
So there are so many theories on why we feel warm and where warmth comes from when we are outside.  Some theologians believe in the existance of a sun.   (a big ball of fire in the sky)  lots of people think - "nah thats a joke."  "Has anyone ever heard the sun or smelled it," they say.
So you pipe in - I have seen it - it's there!  "What do you mean 'see'?"  they would respond.
"I see because I have eyes"
"What are eyes?"
"Like a 5th sense"
No one would take the eye thing seriously, but for you- its right there.  you see the sun, and no man perceiving only with ears could tell you that you that there is no such thing as sight or the sun.
Faith operates in a similar way.  It is not a strong belief - "it is substance ... it is evidence"

a. no i have yet to meet God and i look forawrd to it when i keel over.
b. as jango said it is hard to explain but i would think of it as something inside of u guiding u.
c. dunno
D. we are promised by salvation by a God who has never let His people down.
E. to me there are 2 realms earthly/phsical, and the spiritual/heavenly we will be transported to the spiritual realm and then if ur a christian u enter into heaven or if ur not well then try and be in good spirits...

and in christianity there is a thing called the Trinity God the Father, Jesus, Holy Ghost, its three in one yet seperate beings. God is God, Jesus is our savlation and Holy Ghost guides us.

off topic: jango check my sig, Tek7 is famous

ever gone to steal something and that little voice cries out and says don't do it......

Did you really hear that voice? Was it on the wind?

I'm glad i get to meet the lord face to face at the end of the journey and not the beginning. THough i have had a couple of amazing encounters with his 'presence'.

I have seen amazing miracles. ( his effect on creation, like the wind in the trees)

Christians will go to heaven by fact because the Bible says so. Imagine moses coming down the mountain of the Lord, in a time where Gods people DID see his presence. (* but it still didn't make them any more obedient to HIM. It's when he's on the inside, in the heart, that is most important) and he has with him the 'word of God'. So you have gods word, and many encounters of God with his people.
God said that with moses he spoke 'face to face'. So here's a guy, and a couple of million witnesses.

Heaven is a fact. If God lives there, and he's real. If jesus when he was raised from the dead went there. 'Monkey' style on a cloud (don't know if you have that tv series monkey magic) with people watching. Doesn't really leave room for imagination.

A] Have you seen/met Jesus/God in person?

No.

B] Have they talked back to you?

No.

C] How does God look like? By imagination or belief?

Since most people don't even claim to have seen him physically, it would be by imagination. Well, that describes how people percieve him. How he actually looks is different.

D] Are you sure Christians' will go to heaven? By imagination, belief or fact?

If Christian beliefs are accurate, then they will go to 'heaven.'

E] Would the place, Heaven, be imagination, belief, fact or faction?

Assuming that it exists and people go to it, it would be fact, no? Since none of us have ever been there, it's belief or imagination to us, based on either fact or fiction.

The "bible" is primarily what has served to define our religion - as Christians, then, we acknowledge it (as it has proven itself in my life) as a book of facts. Some consider it a book of fictions - sensationalized stories meant to make feel a little less mortal.
Simple as this. I've won a few arguements and by God's grace a few souls, but have never done both at the same time. God seems to reveal Himself by His own grace to those that hunger and thirst for him. That's really what it is to take the "red pill" isn't it?

for what its worth, this made a lot of sense to me...

A] Noone after AD 33 can ever have met Jesus. God does not exist in physical form, so I cannot meet Him, and ditto for the Holy Spirit.
B] The Holy Spirit resides in my heart, and alot of people think that the Holy Spirit is the little voice inside you, your conscious.
C] No physical form, like I said.
D] I beleive the God does what He says He will do, and He says that He will let Christians into heaven.
E] Like I said, if God says He'll let us into heaven, then there is a heaven.

How can the Holy Spirit be one's conscience when people who reject or haven't even heard of the Holy Spirit have a conscience?

^ yeah, I think thats a good point. I don't think your conscience is the Holy Spirit. I think its your spirit. Thats just speculation though...

I agree too, I think the conscience is just a advice teller.

If bullies came at you, the conscience could give you these options.
a] Beat them up before they do.
b] Run away.
c] Talk to them for a peaceful solution.

If I had the courage, i'd pick a].

i would think ur councience is what sets us apart as humans from other animals.

That depends on what you think the conscience is, Atown.

Animals have a conscience of sorts, I think, though not internalised in the same way as humans.
