I need some tips

hey im new here and lol ive been gacing some problems with Half Life blueshift.....sometimes im stuck and i need some tips on what to do..and sometimes i waste my ammo on aliens who take different ammounts of led to die so if u have any tips in this game please tell me...Thanks!

Since I beaten the game twice, its quite easier than Opposing Force and Half-Life. Took me 4 hours to beat it.

Use crowbars on headcrabs or if your desperately out of ammo.
Use Grenades or C4 versus groups of enemies, dont use them on marines, their too smart. Or use the Rocket Launcher, better aim. Look around areas, break boxes, some boxes will give u medkits and ammo. Try to get allies, your fellow security men have pistols.  Some scientist will help you open locked doors or experment on you...

You'll usually face up marines than monsters.

If you could tell me what monsters and what puzzles your stuck on, I can tell you how to do them easier.

yea i think im on the part where i dont really know how do describe it but after u fight some aliens, then something explodes then u can jump in the vent that fell down and there is always a headcrab to meet me and im always low on health so i just die......i use the crobar but even if i whack the sucka he still took HP off me so im dead
 
when the headcrab jumps at you, dodge it and wack it from behind, it will take the headcrab about 4 secs till it can hit you back.

actually, the name of your saved file, it will say where you are, or when u enter another new level.

or i can play Blue Shift again, since I have it and see where u might me. :lol
 
ok can ya help me out here? here is where i am

im at the Alien world where u arrive by teleporter.....im in this cave like thing and there are so many tunnels in there....ITS A MAZE!!! can anyone help me there?
 
When you reach the place wheres theres about 4 small caves, go to the left one, the one guarded by those stabing tower things. That hole should lead you out, but into the water. When u make it where theres water everywhere and those alien platforms where u jump higher, but u go on it, look up, look for a hole that has water coming out of it, then u go on the jumping platform and jump in there. When your in the place where theres flying platforms on space, look at which is closer and wait for the timing cause some move up and down. About the 4-5th flying platform, u will face 4 of those green zapping aliens. After those, theres a huge tunnel that leads to another flying platform place. Get to the middle, since its bigger, but watch out, at least 3-4 green zapping aliens come out of their spaceship. Then the spaceship destroys part of the platform, try to dodge it. There should be a tower that has fallen and turned into a bridge, go to it and walk slowly. When u make it where you have to turn on a crystal, align the 2 meters into the V shape parts. When thats done, ull face 2 flying orange shooting aliens, about 4 green zapping aliens and 1 big bee shooting alien. When all killed, do to the tunnel where you may have gone back, it should show the roof has caved in, and you can jump back up there. And then your back at the starting where you find that green/yellowish teleporter where u can from. And your back to the secret place. Ill take a rest now......ill wait till you make it somewhere.

When you first get into Xen, kill all of the dogs. Be aware of the healing pool
even though you probably don't need to too badely. It comes in handy if you
have some health lost. Then you must climb up some rocks to get to a large
semi-circle ledge. Once there, go around and in bewtween two walls. Then you
must take out the crowbar and bash the vines under the whip-like creature. Keep
folowing the tunnel until you  get into a circular room with more tunnels in it
and whippy creatures.

Go through the left tunnel and kill the headcrabs. Then go through the path and
then right (left has some ammo in it) when the next path appears. Then you are
in a room with a bullsquid and a headcrab. Go to the tunnel at the bottom ramp.
You can go either way. I suggest you go up the ramp because then you will be on
dry land in the room with the large pool you go to next.

In this large room, there is a healing pool. Now go around the pool and crawl
down the tunnel and bash yourself you. Turn to the right. Here you have a small
and slightly annoying jumping puzzle. Jump from platform to platform to get to
the right cave opening. Soon enough, a fw ships will appear and slaves will
spawn on the platforms. I suggest you ignore them and keep going to the tunnel
door.

Kill the doggies and to right. Now jump across to the donut like platform to
the healing pool. Here turn around and kill the slaves that spawn. Stay in the
pool and you can kill them all. Watch out for extra bombs that the alien ships
drop. When you are fully healed go across the bridge that fell when the aliens
bombed. and bash you way down into the tunnel again.

You will fall into some water and then have to go down the path and underwater.
When your surface, kill the bullsquid. Now fall down the red water waterfall
and kill the next bullsquid. Get on the dry land in the middle use the bounce
to get to the top of the waterfall to the front. Go through, ignoring
barnacles, and use the healing pool. Get leftover ammo and continue. Now fall
down the rapids and get to the above place where you couldn't reach from the
below pool. Head up using platform jumping. Use the bounce to get up to the
next platform when you get all the way upstream.

go through to find a very mechanical structure. Go to the thing with two
switched and bring the green triangle into the red triganles. It sort of looks
like a radar screen. Now it will say aligned or something in the monitor.

Prepare for four slaves, a grunt, and two master-minds to teleport in. Kill em
all. Then go back into the tunnel to the left and kill a slave. Then stuff will
fall on him. Go up the fallen debris and kill two headcrabs and get healed. Go
down the path and kill the bullsquid. Prepare to kill more teleported enemies.
Go back into the pool if you must, but then continue.

You can use the bounce to get to the left, but eventually you must go straight.
Killing more enemies. Fall down the ledge, kill the two slaves in the front of
you, then make a run for the teleporter.

Finally, your back. Sadely, to get everyone out, there needs to be a spare
power-cell. It's you job. Dr. Rosenburg will show you to the lift that takes
you there. Now get the power, charge it, and send it up. Go down the lift.
