...since he spent WAY too much time making my new avatar.

I have this nasty habit of torturing myself by browsing petfinder.com. I know we shouldn't have a pet right now, but there are times that I miss having them around!

When I came across the (original) photo of the kitten in my avatar, I just thought it was too cute.

Please, adopt this kitty since I can't! :p More info in my sig.

The real moral of this story: I'm masochistic, and Tek is OCD. Heh.

The proper usage would be, "Tek has OCD," as OCD stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

And I most certainly do not.

What's ironic is that I've had the same avatar for years now. Well, except when I changed it for April Fool's Day and no one noticed.

Anyway, Ember's right. I get tunnel vision when I design graphics. I lose track of time, I forget to eat, I get SO involved that I look at the clock after I'm done and I shout, "Oh noes! Is it really that late?" This is also the reason I stopped developing web sites.

I bet I'd make the COOLEST avatar in paint....I bet it wouldn't even take me 1.5 hours....

I must come to Tek's defense on this one. I am the same way if it is something I really want to do. I know my sig does not look like much, but it took quite a bit of time to get it to match my avatar, with the font looking good etc.

(plus trying to make it small enough so it wouldn't be on the Tek radar)
