Ichthus is a Christ-centered WoW guild on Alliance-side Darkspear. The mission of Ichthus is to preach, play and proclaim. Ichthus will be a different sort of Christian guild in WoW. We will be Christians, but we will not bludgeon people over the head with the Bible. The vision of Ichthus can be best summed up by Saint Francis of Assisi "Go into all the world and preach the gospel; and if necessary used words." We will preach and proclaim by our gaming and our behavior. That does not mean, however, whenever asks us for a reason we will not give it. It is my hope that we can get quality players (not the best in the world but decent) to provide examples in both PvE and PvP. It is my hope that Ichthus can be a guild that is known for not only for good players but good players that are Christ-like. Also be known for raising up people for those willing. (whether that be getting better in PvP or PvE).
Right now, I am looking for people who are willing to stand up and be officers in this guild. I need four guild signatures. My hope I can get four people: At least one officer devoted to PvE content. (Raid Leader), One PvP leader (RBG leader), one 'leveling officer'to proivde guild instance runs and things for people leveling. And, someone to just help recruit. Therefore I need four officers. The duties I am looking for as follows:
[*]Be active at least 4 days a week.
[*]Be able to raise up an active group of people for weekly events (whether that be PvP or PvE)
[*]Be willing to participate in leadership prayer meetings to pray for the guild.
[*]Have a thick skin and a sense of humor. (It's not easy being a leader, especially in a place like WoW)
If you are chosen, you will have full control over your group. You will also be responsible for your group/groups. (I'm not looking for being the best. Just trying to be as competitive as we can be.)
I know this seems like a big idea. And honestly, if there is more interest in one area over the other (PvE or PvP) then we can adapt. It just depends what the other leaders/members want. Also, there are going to be ranks and some other guild info that has not been addressed in this post (thought it would make it too long) that will also be addressed and adapted once we get going. If you're interested, please send me a message on here telling me why you would like to do it. Also, if you just want to be in the guild, I'd be more than happy to have people in the guild!
