Okay, so there's an achievement in Half-Life 2: Episode 2 that requires you to take a garden gnome from the beginning of the episode to the end, drop him into a rocket compartment, and send him into space along with a satellite.
Sounds like fun, right? Or at least funny?
Well, it is...for about four minutes. Then you realize the urge to fling the garden gnome over a cliff is steadily building. The constant buzzing of the active gravity gun and the dead-eyed stare of the smiling garden gnome plant the idea to chuck the diminutive lawn ornament from the highest height and as soon as possible.
So it's decided. The next high point I come to, whether it be cliff, waterfall, or skyscraper roof, I'm going to chuck the little guy as far as the gravity gun can send him. If he wants a ride into outer space, he'll have to find another chauffeur.
