So while I was on my 1 week break in between semesters here, I got a phone call. This call came from Chino Registry, a registry organization that helps fill in spots at hospitals around the southern california area for xray techs. Basically, if a clinic/hospital needs a spot filled that they can't fill themselves, they call Chino and they pick someone from their ranks and assign them to that spot for however long they're needed.
They called me on tuesday (just about a year after I dropped off my resume to them...lol) and told me to come in and fill out an app.
I also have a possible position working 4 hours on the weekends at another set site called Ballard Clinic. It is an older place that still works with old technology.
The difference between these two offers is that I could possibly get more hours in for better pay with the registry system but work at anytime during the week while the other site is set hours on the weekend only.
I'll be looking into these positions in the next few days. Please keep me in your thoughts.
