Kinda leaving...asdf!?

Well, I have tried EverQuest 2, and I love it! Which means I will be leaving WoW (for now anyways). However, I get on WoW and I am like, "I don't wanna leave...", and I get on EQ2 and I am like, "I am leaving WoW for this definitely!", and back and forth, I haven't quite made my decision yet, but I am leaning towards EQ2...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I cannot afford that...My wife and I play together, so that is $30/month on games, and that is enough...

Actually...that is kinda what I was thinking...BUT, I cannot find any Christian Guilds in EQ2, and I will miss all of you ingame...

I've been trying out the EQ2 trial also, but I don't think it has enough cool stuff (like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Brewfest, etc) to change it up and keep it fun. If it did, I'd seriously think of changing too.

I am glad you like it and I hope they have changed it some because I really hated that game on in Beta and Release. That is why I play WoW.

I played it at release and was like, okay...cool, but not cool enough, now I think they have made it so much better...however, the trial does not include many of the cool new features they have added in the last 3 years...

If I do indeed leave, I will probably start a guild of my own, and yes, I must name it Redeemed, in honor of all of you!

If I could convince you to stick out and try the 2.3 changes I would. Quicker levelling will get you into the largest peer grouping in the guild. If you insist on playing EQ2 the only right thing to do is to give you our blessing and let you know we will be right here to welcome you back with open arms if or when you decide to come back.

Okay, thank you very much...I have canceled my WoW account, and opened a basic EQ 2 account, I will be trying the game for 30 days in it's base form, if it doesn't meet up to my expectations I will return in 30 days...

It does have all that actually. In fact some of the holiday crafting items are really powerful, not only jokes that don't serve a long lasting purpose (they have those too). I have seen some awesome holiday items for your in-game house too. Why live with only the main town's christmas tree when you can craft one and put it in your own home!

Apparently its a whole new game since release. They changed it from being "80% group mandatory" to a "95% soloable by all classes" game. Some Instances can be entered in the equivalent of Normal mode, Heroic mode, or Solo mode.

Plus they added the Mentor feature where no matter what lvl your friends are they can instantly become your level. All their skills auto tune-down to your level and they can even gain XP killing stuff that you would be killing. Plus they can gain talent pts that they could not of otherwise. How awesome is that? It no longer matters if your friends or guildies or wife out levels you. There is still a great incentive for them to group with you via the mentor system and its rewards.

And one final tidbit, the xPac in Nov will be an all-in-one providing the base game +4 expansions +3 adventure packs for $39
