Was going through all my old pc games and found a copy of guild wars the trilogy and gw eye of the north that I bought at Eb games a few years ago and been wanting to play but thought I lost it .

I know guild wars 2 will be out soon but was wondering if it's not to late to jump and roll a toon . I hear that the game has a lot of content you can do and what's really great it's free to play .

Free is great - and fun is even better. Welcome. Put your guy together and we'll see you in game.

You level up much, much quicker. Then you can begin to add heroes from Nightfall or Eye of the North.

Plus it has the Assassin/Ritualist, two of the better classes methinks. :p

I will dissent slightly on Factions, if you want to create a Survivor and have heros early Night Fall is the place. It is possible to hit max level 20 before you do the mission Consulate Docks.

That - coming from the Survivor King. I'm actually going to do that with a character - one day.

I say start in Nightfall or Prophecies if you are new to the game, while Factions is quicker it also doesn't have you learn near as much as Nightfall and you don't get as much free stuff as Prophecies.

My personal order, the order I took my Necro through, and what I think is the most rewarding in terms of game experience is Proph -> EotN -> NF -> Factions. EotN and NF can be switched if you want to, namely those before Factions because of the heroes.

Stc has a point there, there are a lot of free skills available from quests in Proph.

Hey folks sorry I couldidn't reply sooner as I was invited from a good friend to her cottage with her parents . The Weekend went well for the most part but um some hard things I had to accept as well . Overall it was a learning experience that wish I didn't have to go through .

But I trust God had a good reason . Anyways I went ahead and started on factions with a w/rt and already level 11 :) just curious what time of the day is the guild active not that I'm complaining just that I haven't seen many on and on ts for that matter . perhaps I'm logging on at the wrong times lol .

I tend to find people in the early evening PST - 4:30 or 5:00 to 6:30 or 7:00 - during the week. There are usually two to four from the guild and a bunch of others from the alliance. Make sure you have "Alliance" chat checked and tabbed - otherwise you'd never know they are there.

The weekends are pretty much hit and miss unless you schedule with someone.

I'll be looking for Arthur Evilslayer the next time I am in game.
