If I took a picture of what it looked like here, you would all go put on coats and get hot chocolate and then come back to finish looking at the picture...

Today it was nice, it actually got up to 40...
 
Me too Noix. I'm up in Montana and its been hovering at 20 all week. Good snow for the skiers though! I might have to pull out the 'ole camera.

Now that doesn't look much like Apple Valley. That looks more like my neck of the woods. Which beach was that?

That picture was actually taken in summer. And as for the location, Santa Monica. I just wish I had one of the pier in the background.

I actually have some pictures on my myspace page of a time we went to Hunington Beach and the pier there in early December, wearing just t-shirts and jeans :)
 
I remember the Christmas when my son was 5 or 6....it was warm enough to jump thrrough sprinklers and play in swimming pools outside here....sigh...wish that was the norm here....

Yeah! Huntington Beach Pier FTW! When my wife and I first got married and moved out here, our apartment was about 6 blocks from there. We used to walk downtown and on the pier all the time ('cause we were broke and couldn't afford to actually spend money). It was pretty cool to realize that all these people were coming on vacation to the place we lived. =) That was back before they had built the Ruby's out on the end of the pier, if you need me to date myself for you.

But now we live far away from there. It's about 4 miles now, so we don't walk there much anymore...
