John 12:24 NLT

Have you ever left an encounter with the thought that you a missed opportunity to witness that made you feel sorta bad and left kinda a bad taste upon the thought or am I the only one? Hehehe I'm sure I'm not. Well, like a goober I am, I asked. And the answer came with the sight of a pile of wheat, and the best I can describe a flavorful stench. It took me a good bit of research to draw reasoning from it. My first hunch had something to do with alcohol but nothing scriptural seemed to pinpoint meaning. So I studied wheat which needless to say got broke down to various categories to the point of diagnosis. Wheat is the good stuff, we can't sit on it and when we do it will leave that soured taste. So today's scripture is where I stopped as my answer.

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.
