Here is a screenshot of my 7mbit cable line, new modem and new wireless router. (Of course im not using wireless because the router is right beside my computer, and that would be absolutely pointless.) Fyi, the speed didnt stay this high, it fluctuated between 600 kb/sec to 2mb/sec :D

Oh my...the prices on that must be through the roof, unless you work for the company providing it, huh? =D

Nope, Fiber optic can actually be cheapter than what some of us pay for not even close to that performance.

Something like $45 a month for the 15mbit down, 2mbit up fiber optic line.

And many companies are installing fiber optic around the world. Just depends if you area has that option.

Fiber optic are basically fragmented Tier lines. Like the 15mbit line, fragmented T1 (T1 runs 12mbits both ways)

Jezz... I remember hearing a statistic that one strand of fiber (smaller than a human hair) can handle all the telephone calls around the world on the busiest telephony day of the year -- Mother's Day -- with no troubles!! *head spinning*

So yeah, obviously, bandwidth is not an issue! =)
