New Central Time Zone Server: Kahrun

Brand new Aion server launching April 4th! Kahrun is a new Central Time Zone server that will be opening up early for character creation and name reservations. Players will be able to log in and reserve their names on Kahrun this Wednesday and then enjoy playing those new characters when Aion: Ascension launches

Yes, this is a surprise. They must be expecting quite a few new players. It's even more interesting that it's Central time. I've only experienced Easter and Pacific time zone servers.

They're all located in Austin which is central time, but the west coast servers operating on Pacific time and the east coast servers operate on eastern time. That's why instances like Dredge are three hours apart between east coast and west coast servers and not at the same time.

I think if I were to only play Aion, a fresh server would be very nice. But as it is being a casual game I don't see wanting to reroll

Same here. Nor do I want to pay for a transfer.

I hope they would not allow transfers to the new server, or that would kinda defeat the whole point of a new server, unless its simply to spread out playerbase, which I don't see being an issue.
