Tribe of Judah member Repentence777 (a.k.a. forums user Proverb) has volunteered to lead an Everquest II chapter. I've appointed him to the position of Everquest II Chapter Leader, which means Tribe of Judah now has a EQ2 chapter!

Be sure to congratulate Repentence/Proverb and post a reply if you play EQ2.

I'll be working with Repentence/Proverb other staff to help get the chapter established in the coming week. Watch this thread for more information as it becomes available.

Hello TOJ Members,

I'm very excited to take on this new chapter. I have been playing EQ2 since beta. Our guild was established in 2006 and the name of it is Knights of I AM and we are on The Bazaar server. We are very small guild but we have put in allot hard work. Me and my family started it with the idea off a guild that stood for The Lord. I have prayed that I can lead this Guild and let it grow to be a testimony for The Lord. And joining TOJ opens up doors for the uniting of Christians in EQ2. The Guild is level 51/80 and we have plenty work yet to do, as we grow. I'm excited for the new chapter and can't wait to get to know you all.

In the coming days I'll be posting more info. You can contact me if you would like to join the Guild, my main character is Arel or you can contact my wife and her main character is Mawusi. Another Guild Leader is Canley he is is on Aussy time Please tell us your a TOJ member and we will get you invited.

More info to come as we get the website up and running. I want to thank Tek7 for all his help. We have been talking this out over the last month and all the work has paid off as TOJ opens up its EQ2 chapter. You can email me any questions at knights_of_i_am@yahoo.com some more info and member info about the guild http://eq2players.station.sony.com/guilds/guild_profile.vm?guildId=907117

May the Lord Bless You

Nice! Congrats on the guild and Chapter lead.

Now I have questions for you! :-) (ps. I am not a current subscriber but am considering resub due to this announcement.)

1.) You guys have been playing since beta but there are no 80s in the guild? Are you newer to the Bazaar server?

2.) I love the Gorrowyn starting area, on a PvE server can a good toon do all the quests there? Or do I have to roll evil and then betray once I am done with starting area in order to join guild? Or can evil toons be in a good guild on PvE server?

3.) Any class needs for the guild so far? I have no idea what I would want to play if I started over and suggestions would be helpful.

Hello Ewoksrule

Thank you!

Let me answer your question best as I can.

1. We have tried different servers in hopes to find a Christian guild in EQ2. We took a break from PVE(Bazaar server) and tried PVP up to level 50 on the (Nag server) just wasn't for us. Also we took small break and tried Warhammer and this is how we found TOJ. Warhammer was not our style and I started in talks with TEK7 about opening EQ2 chapter on Bazaar server. We hope to have a guild that will bring fellow christians in EQ2 together to build and grow and spread the Word.

2. Yes good characters can do quest there. All evil characters do have to betray before joining the our guild this is a guild rule not a game rule.

3. Best to play what you like enjoy the Game take your time and quest or tradeskill do what is fun for you!! At this time we are Casual guild and look forward to growing. As we grow we can get into alliance with other raiding guilds. The guild needs Tanks, healers, or Damage dealers. Your pick have fun :)

I have some questions of my own (I also used to play, and am considering resub with this announcement)...

How many active people do you have in the guild, and does anyone play after midnight EST?

2. Yes good characters can do quest there. All evil characters do have to betray before joining the our guild this is a guild rule not a game rule.

Oh... well I certainly respect that of you and wouldn't ask for it to be changed, but it may mean my husband and I won't be able to participate fully since we maintain characters in Freeport and Neriak to be able to witness there. We'll certainly pray about what God's will would be for us in this regard, but since it's part of our mission field it's not something we can change lightly. My main that has already joined is good, but my husband's main is not.

As of today 4 active accounts. One person plays after 12am est. He from Australia plays also in early in the mornings 3-6am est 3more accounts are active in summer break

Hmm how hard-set are you on the evil/good thing? It is not a deal breaker for me, but I would love to bring over my 80 brigand and not have to make him a swashy. I would feel dirty doing so after all that time on a PvP server. Plus wouldn't we then alienate a good portion of the server from interfacing with us? Not to mention all the cool evil-only classes we won't be able to roll... Just my thoughts, I will support you all regardless. :-)

My husband and I were doing some figuring and realized that even if we were willing to betray we probably couldn't afford it. Replacing level 80 masters and class-based raid gear is a staggering cost to contemplate, especially with this being part of our income and not just our leisure. I know any cost is trivial compared to serving God, but we already have an existing ministry ingame and this would hurt it rather than help.

Again, I'm not saying the guild should change its rules just for our sakes. I respect it doing what it thinks is right. Just letting you know where we are at, too. Even under the best of circumstances we might not be free to move completely over for a while anyway since, as I was mentioning yesterday before the servers went down, my husband has obligations to his current guild as he is in the process of getting his mythical now and once he gets it he should stay a while longer to help others out to repay their investment in him. Unfortunately this also impacts my abilities too since I have a mental disability that affects real-time conversation skills so I have a really hard time interacting with people if he's not with me to help me. He also has disabilities of his own so we're both weird and abnormal which is all the more reason not to change the rules for just us, but objectively speaking, the high cost of betraying a character at 80 might be worth considering in case it might be a detriment to gaining future membership as well.

I was also wondering if it is possible to join the Chapter without necessarily joining the guild. I'd like to be as supportive as I can but not having my husband with me limits me a lot. Being able to converse more in the forums environment will make it much easier for me to get to know and share with people without coming across as an incoherent flake.

The whole idea of starting this chapter is bringing those in EQ2, who wish to stay focused on the Lord, together. There are Christian people out there that want a guild, but being gamers we also want a high level raiding etc. Unfortunately that has not been established as of yet. I really believe that if those from TOJ come together we can have a wonderful Christian guild and the more we grow the more other will want to be a part of it also.

Why would we send the message that evil character would be Knights of God? Good and Evil do not go together. I will not compromise God. We can understand how you feel about starting over or re-buying spells, etc, as we have done it ourselves.

If you wish to start a new character or betray a low level character. We would gladly help you with leveling. That way we can still enjoy fellowship time with our new friends in God. Maybe newcomers to the guild shouldn't Transfer Server/Betray until you try out the server or guild and see if its to your liking, before spending hard earn money.

The guild is level 51 so at least we are not starting from scratch.
We have many alt characters with high level trade skills and can meet many needs.
